NEW YORK – Describing it as a health-conscious alternative to their standard product line, Colgate announced Friday that they are releasing a new low-calorie toothpaste. “We understand many of our customers want to make a lighter choice when it comes to brushing, and our newest product provides just that by slashing the calorie count down to .5 calories per smear,” said COO Noel Wallace, adding that the toothpaste also contains zero grams of sugar and no trans fats. “And because we used only the freshest chemicals, we were able to create a healthy, low-calorie paste without sacrificing any of the incredible flavor that Colgate is known for.” This announcement came right after a similar one two days earlier in which Colgate introduced their new late-night line of forty proof mouthwash.
